Are you traveling abroad?  Do you live or work in a foreign country that that has a hostile geo-political climate? Are you a backpacker or an avid adventurer? Are you a pilot? Are you a hunter or fisherman? Or are you concerned about the geopolitical climate at home and the potential outcome of that? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then our Survival School is an absolute must for you!

Why? So that you can protect yourself and your loved ones in the event that things don’t turn out as planned.

 

For the Civilians and Corporations we offer summer and winter training courses in Alaska, above and below the Arctic Circle, in both Survival and Arctic Wilderness Medicine.  We also offer Wilderness Survival and Wilderness Medicine courses in Arizona during the summer and winter months.

 

 

We also teach urban survival classes, and a course on how to survive in hostile environments.

 

Some of our instructors are former military, former law enforcement and former security contractors with extensive experience working, and traveling safely in hostile theaters.

 

In Alaska you will learn from our instructors who have spent many years in the Alaska Bush under some of the harshest conditions on planet earth. (e.g. Iditarod dog mushers, trappers, explorers, and men who have spent many years living in the Alaska Bush off the road system, sleeping on the ground 50 miles north of the Arctic Circle at -65° F. with nothing but a tarp over their sleeping bags!). The maximum number of participants for any course is 10, and the minimum number is six.  Both men and women are welcome to attend. Larger groups, such as corporate team building, and groups assigned to foreign missions can be accommodated with our custom designed courses.

In Alaska and other places where we have been, we have seen people needlessly die or suffer immeasurably due to a lack of survival gear and essential survival skill sets. You can have all the survival gear and equipment you can carry, but if you don’t know how to use it, you are just packing around a lot of good gear for nothing.

                                                        Always Remember This: 

If you are prepared and don’t need to use it, it will cost you nothing. 

If you are unprepared and need to be, it will probably cost you your life and the lives of your friends or loved ones. So please read that again and let it sink in!

 

                                        Be Trained, Be Prepared, Be Reaady...Always

                                                                             The Fine Print:

 

  1. Length of Training: We offer both seven (7) and 14-day courses (not counting your arrival and departure dates) in Alaska and Arizona

  2. Size Of Classes: The maximum number of participants for any course is 10, and the minimum number is six.  Both men and women are welcome to attend. Larger groups, such as corporate team building, can be accommodated on a custom designed one off basis.

  3. Dates Available: Year-round (summer and winter survival training courses) 

  4. Lodging--Arrival/Departure: A one-night stay at your arrival and departure destination in Fairbanks, Alaska or Phoenix Arizona is included in the cost. We will make the reservations for you at a nice hotel.

  5. Lodging During Your Training: In Alaska and in Arizona we furnish a semi-primitive remote fly-in tent camp for the central part of the training.  In Alaska we fly you from Fairbanks International Airport to the base, located off the road system, in our Piper PA-18 Super Cub. In Arizona we pick you up at Sky Harbor International Airport with our 4x4 vehicle and drive you far into the desert for your training.  In all cases participants will stay in the backpack-size tents that they bring with them. All training will take place at these base camps. For the last two days of the seven-day course and the last four days of the 14-day course, each participant must live unsupported out of their Bug Out Bag (BOB) for those days. Our instructors will closely monitor you for extreme fatigue, dehydration, and pre-hypothermic signs. If we find any participant displaying any of these or other symptoms which show you are in danger, we will take appropriate measures. In other words, we will do everything we can to keep you safe! There are trained and experienced medics on staff at all times, and in Alaska our Piper Super Cub and pilot will always be at the base.

  6. Hygiene: Except for the unsupported phase of your training, you will have access to the following

  • A small hot water shower facility (summer months only)

  • An outhouse/pit toilet (only for use during the class room portion)

   7. Meals: We will provide the food, but it is up to each individual to prepare their meals. This is survival                school, not the Waldorf.  

    8. Upon booking, we will email you two things:

  •  A waiver of liability for you to sign and return

  •  A list of equipment and gear that you will be required to bring. The items on this list will vary depending on if you choose Alaska or Arizona for your training, and the time of year that you want to have your training. 

    9. Costs: 

  • Alaska: $6,300 for seven (7) day course. $9,600 for 14-day course

  • Arizona: $5,200 for seven (7) day course. $7,200 for 14-day course

    10. Terms: Full payment is required at the time of booking.  No refunds for cancelations.  However, if you             are unable to attend you can appoint someone to take your slot
